justify;\"><b>\u00a0<\/b>With the arrival of 2013, one of the most ambitious community proposals for strengthening the sustainable management and administration of the Bobonaza Basin territory crystallizes: the <b>School of Specialization in Amazon Resources<\/b> which will be installed as of this Sunday, March 10 in the Kichwa Native People of Sarayaku with a duration of two years.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The lines of specialization will revolve around three components: 1. leadership and planning, formulation, execution, follow-up, monitoring and evaluation of projects; 2. monitoring of the territory and management of the Amazonian biodiversity and 3. management and production of the Amazonian ichthyofauna.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><i>&quot;The School is of vital importance since it responds to our Amazonian worldview by sustaining ecosystems and the lives of peoples and nationalities as a counter proposal to the oil proliferation promoted by the current government in power,&quot;<\/i> inferred Jos\u00e9 Gualinga, Tayak Apu of Sarayaku, who will express his words of welcome.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">On this day, its coordinator, Daniel Santi, will evaluate the results of the first quarter within the framework of the &quot;Project to Strengthen the Management and Sustainable Administration of the Territory of the Kichwa People of the Bobonaza Basin&quot;, which is sponsored by the Basque foundation Paz y Solidarity.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><i>\u00a0<\/i>The objective of creating the School is to train community leaders and cadres to manage local development projects in favor of improving the quality of life in the communities of the Bobonaza basin, since it has a pioneering characteristic of its kind: having been born from the community vision subject to the grassroots organizational process in the context of struggle and resistance, initially led by the Original Kichwa People of Sarayaku against the threat of oil companies and consolidated at a broader level with the strengthening of the communities of the Basin of the Bobonaza.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">On Monday, March 11, classes begin by LinderInzuisa (Ichthyofauna Management and Production), Alfredo Bastidas (Social Management) and Andr\u00e9s Tapia (Monitoring and Biodiversity), coordinators of academics in the areas of specialization.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><i>\u201cThe teaching staff has been selected based on their extensive experience and organizational work of national and international professionals committed to organizations in defense of their territories, while the 27 students have been delegated by their communities, which means that the challenge is not it is not only individual but social and collective\u201d,<\/i> Andres Tapia said.<\/p>\n<p><a
