\u00a0<\/b>The Original Kichwa People of Sarayaku, despite the constant harassment and intimidation of these last two weeks by the Ecuadorian Government, due to the decision taken on May 24 at the VII Sumak Kawsay Congress to host, in a spirit of human solidarity, Messrs. Clever Jim\u00e9nez, Carlos Figueroa and Fernando Villavicencio, now we prepare your preparations for the realization of the PACHAMAMA<\/b>, celebration of gratitude to Mother Earth, which has been held every year in the month of May in commemoration of the great march of 1992 \u00a8Allpamanda Kawsaymanda Jatarishun\u00a8 that achieved the legalization of the territories of the original peoples of the South East Amazon.<\/p>\n
The Pachamama festival is a transcendental act for Sarayaku, a call to unity, a reunion of the ayllu (families) of the communities, peoples and nationalities of the Bobonaza basin, a training to reinforce the connection and interrelation with the Kawsak Sacha<\/i> (Living Jungle), likewise highlights the existence and validity of a people with ancient culture and living customs.<\/p>\n
In turn, in this important event, the new Governing Council of TAYJASARUTA, elected in the recent Congress, will position itself. Sumak kawsay<\/i>. The elected leaders will assume their responsibilities for three years, governing the people of Sarayaku and ensuring the Sumak kawsay<\/i> from town.<\/p>\n
