Today, January 14, 2016 at 8:00 am, the general assembly of the original Kichwa people of Sarayaku begins with total normality and order with the entire community.
In the presence of the current government council TAYJASARUTA, former leaders, inhabitants of Sarayaku, teachers, students, allies and guests, a symbolic ceremony was held to start with strength and unity with the entire town.

Education (Sacha Runa Yachay) and Health.
Analysis of the current situation regarding the Land Law, legal status of the peoples and threats with the new oil round, among others.
The assembly will meet for three days with the aim of finding resolutions in the different areas to be discussed, in addition to analyzing the current political situation in our country with respect to laws and policies that threaten the life plans of the peoples and nationalities of Ecuador. .
