The Government Council of the Original People of Sarayaku, fulfilling the resolutions of the last extraordinary assembly, convenes a working meeting of the Support Team, Project Coordinators, Former Presidents, Leaders, Kaskirunas and traditional Kuraka Authorities, for the On Friday, October 20, 2017, the work meeting will be held at the House of the Midday Assembly, starting at 8 in the morning.
The order of work to be treated are the following.
- Territorial demarcation of the Town of Sarayaku according to the database of different titles of the neighboring communities, preparing a digital base map.
- Planning for the territorial delimitation in the field and work meetings with the different neighboring communities and competent authorities, to establish common agreements of respect for ancestral collective territorial rights.
