Four years after the judgment of June 27, 2012 by the Inter-American Court in the Sarayaku vs. Ecuador case. This May 3, 2016, a monitoring hearing is scheduled to evaluate the progress of compliance with the sentence at the headquarters of the Inter-American Court of Human Rights, San José, Costa Rica. The Sarayaku delegation will be headed by Felix Santi Tayak Apu (president) of Sarayaku, along with his defense attorney Dr. Mario Melo, this delegation will travel to Costa Rica in order to listen to the report that the Ecuadorian State will issue, and demand the real compliance with said sentence, since the most relevant resolutions have not been fulfilled, such as: The removal of the pentolite, the measures of non-repetition prior to a prior free and informed consultation.
