After eight years of a long process, in July 2011 it was carried out, before the Inter-American Court of Human Rights, in Costa Rica, the final public hearing on the case of the Kichwa People of Sarayaku. The Ecuadorian State must respond to the violation of various articles of international law on human rights and the collective rights of indigenous peoples.

Before issuing his final sentence, the President of the Court, in the exercise of his functions, decided to carry out a visit to the territory of the Kichwa People of Sarayaku.

To ensure the success of this Sarayaku mobilization, you must assume different expenses such as:
• Local transportation costs (air and river) for visitors, food costs (including Court and Government representatives).
• Installation of a giant screen and loudspeakers outside the assembly house too small for the occasion, so that the entire community can hear the various statements.
• Transportation and lodging for 15 people from Sarayaku to attend the special session of the Court in Guayaquil.
• Costs of the filming of all the events from the arrival of the Court in Quito, to the visit in Sarayaku, in Molino and the participation in Guayaquil.
