With the participation of 5 communities that make up the Town of Sarayaku Shiwacoha, Chontayaku, Kalikali, Sarayakillo and Centro Sarayaku, the Extraordinary Town Assembly was held.
According to the constitution of Ecuador, exercising the right to be consulted, before any law is adopted and that affects the Indigenous Peoples and Nationalities, in consensus the Original Kichwa People of Sarayaku have carried out the respective consultation of the Organic Law Project of Water Resources, Use and Development of Water.
Men and Women Partners of the People of Sarayaku have supported the Pre-legislative consultation, supporting and incorporating the proposal for the benefit of the Indigenous Peoples and Nationalities of Ecuador.
As support and legal proof, all the members of the Sarayaku people sign.
