A delegation from Sarayaku headed by Félix Santi, president of Sarayaku, was invited as an indigenous territorial government to participate in the Summit of Mayors for Climate organized in the Paris city hall. Mayors from dozens of capitals from around the world met throughout the day at the invitation of the mayor of Paris, Anne Hidalgo, and the special envoy of the United Nations Secretary General for cities and climate change Michael R. Bloomberg. The summit was opened by the President of the French Republic, François Hollande. World personalities such as Baki Moon and celebrities such as Robert Redford and Leonardo di Caprio were present.

Felix Santi presented the Kawsay Sacha proposal as a concrete solution to fight Climate Change during a speech together with the mayors of Barcelona Spain, New Orleans United States and Aman Jordan. Félix Santi also gave the mayor of Paris a ceramic as a recognition of the link between women and nature.
