This Wednesday, December 1, the People of Sarayaku began their activities at COP21 in Paris, with the presentation, at the UUEE Pavilion, of the Kawsak Sacha-Living Jungle proposal by leader José Gualinga. After greeting President Hollande, Félix Santi, president of Sarayaku, accompanied by two women leaders, presented the Vision of Indigenous Peoples on climate change mitigation at the Climate Generations Space. The day ended with the participation of Patricia Gualinga, director of foreign relations, at a round table in the Paris 6 city hall, on the Alliance of the Guardians of Mother Earth, initiated by Cacique Raoni, in order to harmonize in a voice the demands of the indigenous peoples of the world against those who cause climate change.
